UCSB Physical Therapy provides a comprehensive range of physical therapy services. 

Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality of care to enable you to return to full function.  You will need a referral from your health care provider.

Squat Video Series 

with Myra Jones, PTA

Squat Series Progression One  Warm-up includes: plank with toe taps, single leg bridge, and side plank with knee extension followed by squats with lateral steps

Squat Series Progression Two   Progress the warm up series with plank with toe taps, single leg bridge, and side plank with knee extension, plank with toe taps

Squat Series Progression Three  Review of Core Clock Warm-up, adding resistance with some dynamic squats: Planks with toe taps, side planks with hip abduction, single leg bridge with a hip thrust and full planks

 

Volunteer Opportunities:

Our physical therapy department has a limited number of volunteer positions available for students interested in pursuing a career in health care.

  • We require at least a 1 year commitment and
  • approximately 4 hours per week divided between 2 shifts (pending a background check and HIPPA training).
  • This fulfills requirements for outpatient physical therapy volunteer hours for PT schools.
