The Student Health Legends Fund assists UC Santa Barbara students who are unable or reluctant to seek prescribed medical care due to financial obstacles. The fund rewards grants of up to $200 to students in need who are facing medical, dental, and psychological conditions. This support helps to meet deductibles and co-pays that prevent students from seeking needed care. Student Health refers eligible students to our campus social workers for consultation and to our insurance office so that the advisers can help them manage their bills.
