All UCSB students, regardless of the type of health insurance they have, havefull access to the services at Student Health including medical visits, laboratory, nutrition, radiology, pharmacy, physical therapy and services in the Eye Care Center and Dental Care Center.
The fees you pay relate to your enrollment status but are kept as low as possible for the convenience of students. If you have any questions about this, please call the Student Health Billing Office at (805) 893-8141.
If you are a member of the campus Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) most Student Health fees are free as part of your benefits. For student with other types of health insurance, you must pay the fee in-full and submit your own claim to your insurance carrier for reimbursement.
