Immunizations

We strongly urge all students to either send your immunization records to Student Health at SHSImmunizationRecords.sa.ucsb.edu or fax them to 805-893-2758.

You do not need to stand in line at the Appointment Desk if you need a shot.  Go directly to an "immunization check-in" computer station in the main lobby and follow the instructions posted.  Immunizations are administered in a walk-in clinic Monday-Friday, 10-12 noon and 1:30-3:30pm.

After you book yourself into the clinic on the computer, be certain to complete the paperwork when you get to the clinic.  Another option is to save time by downloading and bringing the completed questionnaire to the Immunization Clinic.

All standard immunizations are provided.

Travel immunizations (including yellow fever, Japanese encephalitis and rabies) will be given only if you have already had an appointment in Travel Clinic.

Before being seen in immunization clinic, please:

Read the Vaccine Information Statement (VIS) for your desired immunization(s). You may download and read the appropriate VIS from the link(s) found below. VIS sheets are also available from the wall rack outside the Immunization Clinic in the Red Hallway.

Please bring your immunization records with you for review and documentation of your immunizations.
Recommended Vaccinations

Information regarding current charges for immunizations is available from the immunization nurse.

Travel immunizations will be given only if you have already had your appointment in Travel Health.
