Pregnancy Testing
Student Health provides pregnancy testing to students upon request. When a patient requests a pregnancy test, she should check in at the Sierra Clinic reception desk. The patient will be given the Pregnancy Questionnaire form to complete as indicated, and instructed to return the form when they return to obtain lab results.
The Sierra Clinic receptionist will enter the order in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and the patient will be sent to the lab to give the specimen.
Patients will not have a specified appointment time set aside to obtain lab results. Patients will be seen by the counselor on a first come/first served basis.
NOTE: In the absence of a counselor, the patient will be given results by the Urgent Care Nurse.
