UCSB Student Health, the primary care center for UCSB students, is located on campus across from the Events Center. During the regular academic year, students are seen by appointment Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Wednesdays from 9:00am to 4:30pm and Thursdays from 8:00am to 7:00pm. Students who walk-in may go to Urgent Care for acute issues, but this may involve a long wait.
A wide range of services are available including: Acne Clinic, Advice Nurse, Allergy Shots, Dental Care, Dermatology, Eye Care, Health Education and Counseling, Immunizations, Laboratory, Minor Surgery, Nutrition, Orthopedics, Patient Advocate, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Primary Care, Psychiatry, Rheumatology, Social Work, Travel Medicine, Urgent Care, Wart Removal, Women's Health, and X-Ray.
For problems arising after hours and on weekends, students should click on the After Hours link to see a list of off-campus clinics in the area. In the event of a life-threatening emergency, students should call 911 or go directly to the nearest Emergency Room.
