UCSB’s Alcohol & Drug Program (ADP) provides free and confidential counseling to self-referred students, students referred by someone else, and students concerned about a friend’s use of alcohol or drugs. ADP counselors are available to address questions, issues, and concerns related to alcohol, marijuana, tobacco, other drugs, gambling, and other addictive/compulsive behaviors. Depending on individual need, counselors provide assessment, counseling, education, and referral to other professionals on campus and in the community (such as psychiatrists, psychologists, physicians, alcohol and drug treatment programs, health specialists, and health educators). Appointments are available on-campus at Student Health and in Isla Vista at Embarcadero Hall.
Students can follow the link if interested in finding out more about ADHD and resources for ADHD.
